What to expect:
1. Phone Consultation
A brief conversation to discuss what you’re hoping to work on, ask questions, and get a sense of fit.
2. Initial Evaluation
A more detailed meeting where Peter gathers background information and collaborates with you to establish treatment goals.
3. Ongoing Therapy
Regular sessions focused on working toward those goals and exploring the barriers that arise along the way.
Peter understands that choosing a therapist is personal. If at any point it doesn’t feel like the right fit, that’s completely okay — what matters most is that you find the support that works for you.
Why Start Therapy?
Therapy can be transformative, shifting the trajectory of your life in meaningful ways. It can also be subtle, focusing on small, attainable changes that accumulate over time.
Peter begins with the emotional experience — helping you understand what you feel and why — and then works with you to translate that insight into practical, sustainable behavioral change.
Even small shifts can create profound improvements in your sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.

FAQs
How is working virtually — is it harder than in person?
1
Before COVID‑19, I worked entirely in person. The shift to virtual therapy forced by the pandemic ended up being a positive one. Meeting online provides more flexibility and allows me to meet clients where they are — literally and emotionally.
In terms of progress, I’ve found that when both therapist and client are engaged, meaningful work happens regardless of the format. My clients and I show up with intention, and that creates a clear path for growth.
How long do you usually work with clients?
2
I typically work with clients on a longer‑term basis. It’s not required, but because I work at a deeper level, the process can take time. We’ll explore immediate goals as well as broader, long‑term changes related to life satisfaction and personal growth.
Your treatment plan is ongoing and collaborative — we’ll revisit it together and adjust it as your needs evolve.
How often do we meet?
3
Most clients meet with me weekly for the first several months. After that, many transition to every other week. During stressful periods, weekly sessions can resume.
I’m flexible and prioritize your scheduling needs. Meeting less often than every other week can make it harder to maintain momentum and continuity, so I generally recommend staying within that rhythm.
Do you work with women, or just men?
4
I work with adults of all genders. While I see a higher number of men — partly because there are fewer male therapists — I also work with many women and gender‑nonbinary clients. I enjoy working with a diverse range of people and have had meaningful, successful therapeutic relationships across genders.
